Seattle Saptaswara
Saptaswara, a non-profit musical ensemble based in Seattle, Washington, was founded in 2009 by individuals with a passion for music. The organization seeks to cultivate local talent and use their musical performances as a means of giving back to the community. Over the years, the troupe has made significant contributions to various charitable endeavors, including programs supporting palliative care, special education, and patients with chronic kidney disease. Through their efforts and the support of the Seattle community, Saptaswara has raised more than $480,000 for these worthy causes.
Care & Share
Care & Share is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting disadvantaged communities both domestically and internationally. Established in 1990, the organization focuses on a variety of humanitarian initiatives, including disaster relief, medical support, education, and homelessness.
With a strong emphasis on global humanitarian efforts, Care and Share has been instrumental in providing aid during natural disasters, funding medical research, and offering educational scholarships to underprivileged students. The organization also plays a key role in providing shelter and rehabilitation services for vulnerable groups, such as orphans and victims of human trafficking.
A significant portion of Care and Share's work is centered in Kerala, India, where it has supported flood relief, COVID-19 relief, education of differently abled kids, and online education. Through community engagement and events like "Ganolsavam," Care and Share raises funds and fosters awareness for its causes.
Ganolsavam 2026 builds on Seattle Saptaswara’s enduring commitment to championing education and rehabilitation for children with special needs. This year’s event is dedicated to empowering these children — ensuring they receive the opportunities, support, and learning environments they deserve to grow, thrive, and shine alongside every other child in our community.
70% of all proceeds will directly benefit the following three partner special‑needs schools, strengthening their programs, resources, and long‑term impact. The remaining 30% will be reserved for community‑driven requests, allowing us to respond to needs identified right here in Seattle. Through music, generosity, and collective spirit, we’re creating meaningful change and building a more inclusive community — one where every child’s potential is honored.
Chaithanya Special School — Serving more than 140 children with special needs in the Palakkad district, Chaithanya provides early intervention, individualized care, and vocational training. Over the years, Ganolsavam contributions have helped build classrooms, launch a groundbreaking digital curriculum, hire therapists, and raise staff salaries to a meaningful level. Holy Cross Special School — Established in 2001 with just 10 students, Holy Cross in Mannackanad, Kottayam now supports 97 children with diverse needs, guided by a dedicated team of 20 staff. Last year’s support enabled them to adopt a digital curriculum that has quickly become a favorite among students and parents, enhancing attention, engagement, and learning outcomes. AMHA Thrissur — Founded by Dr. Bhanumathi of Kerala Varma College, AMHA began as a center for adults with intellectual disabilities and later expanded to serve children as well. Today, one center supports adults, another provides care for autistic children ages 1–10, and a third supports children ages 11–18. More info: https://amhaind.org/about.html
